Somebody recorded our clip "Shake" right from the air on the Ukrainian music TV channel "M1" and put it onto this server – there's the logo of the channel on the clip and the quality is... rather poor, as you understand. :)

You can download and see it yourselves:

Briefly about AbaNDa SHAKE start-up concept...

Natali Dali and Dimitris Krist had worked together as songwriters (authors and producers) at their music studio for about 7 years before they started the project "AbaNDa SHAKE" in 2003 when the first song "Shake" was recorded. After having recorded an album of 10 songs they began to master the video production so that people could not only hear their music but also watch it.

Dimitris is a very experienced professional musician, arranger, composer. He is a multi-instrumentalist - he plays all the parts in the songs himself. He also performs the complete sound-producing for the project - recording, editing, progging, mixing, mastering. Natali mostly composes melodies and writes lyrics for the songs, but she also takes part in sound editing, arranging, producing. As for the video production - they together think of the ideas, script the scenarios for their video clips, Dimitris deals with filming and Natali is occupied with video montage. She herself makes all the entourage, artwork and design.

AbaNDa SHAKE have their official website abandashake.com - at the present time it is still under construction - and you can only find their intro there. But they have a comprehensive web page at myspace.com/abandashake where you can listen to their songs, read the lyrics, watch the videos, leave your comments and even chat a little with the band. :)

The first album "SHAKE" is planned to be released in 2008. One of the evident ways of spreading it worldwide is through the internet. The track "Cat" on CD & DVD is available now for buying - find the links to the shops on our page or in our blog... Come on and check out and enjoy our music! :)

The name AbaNDa SHAKE comes from...

The name AbaNDa SHAKE was very carefully chosen. Here are ten definitions that altogether make the full meaning:

1. AbaNDa (A – banda, a music band of A class)
2. AbaNDa (N+D stand for Natali & Dimitris - the duo behind the band)
3. AbaNDa (the southern town - a hint to the musicians' origin from a warm and sunny place)
4. AbaNDa (a fest, a holiday associated with the celebrated song - a hint to the positive character of the music)
5. AbaNDa (the female name Amanda pronounced in a special way - a hint to the vocalist's weird manner of singing)
6. SHAKE (a mixture, a blend of different trends and styles - a hint to the art variety)
7. SHAKE (an energetic motion that makes you feel the beat and tune to the rhythm of life - a hint to the groovy feeling)
8. SHAKE (the first part of the surname of the English poet of all times - Shakespeare - a hint to the immortal lyrics)
9. SHAKE (a popular dance that gave birth to freestyle dancing and thus entered the history - a hint to innovation and no limits)
10. SHAKE (the name of the first song, clip and album of the project)

So, AbaNDa SHAKE is an energizing hot music drink with separate ingredients a la notorious dish "arroz abanda", a picturesque, multi-coloured music cocktail that makes you move, sing and dance, have fun, both relax and think, both contemplate and act…

Also, AbaNDa SHAKE is an abandoned half-full glass of a dynamic fresh that means no matter how much potential is being spent it is never empty, i.e. the band of Natali and Dimitris have many more things to say in music in the future and they always keep the quality up to date...

And finally, AbaNDa SHAKE is a unique phenomenon in global pop music!!!!!!! :)) Standing among the first names in music encyclopedias and catalogues!! ;))
