Like many other independent music artists on the internet, until lately AbaNDa SHAKE has been selling their digital album by means of ReverbNation's Digital Distribution (other methods have not been available for unsigned artists like us). We've recently stopped our release's distribution for the simple reason - the annual fee which we have to pay for the service (about 35 USD) is many times bigger than the average amount we earn from the sales (about 7 USD). Allow us to remind you also, that the amount of 35 USD in Ukraine can not be regarded as small money - for us here it is the amount that would be equal to 350 USD (ten times more!) for you in Western Europe or USA. It's not a trifle for us to collect this money and pay it annualy without the fair revenue gotten to cover the investment and make some benefit (the way it is supposed to be). Below we're presenting you the printscreened copy of our ReverbNation's bank chart as a proof for you to make sure we are true about what we say. Also, hereunder there are two copies of ReverbNation's messages received by us as the confirmation of our album's release status being considered "abandoned", due to the reasons listed above. By doing so, we would just want to blow away certain people's illusion of our project's prosperity. We've been always striving to be a success, but it hasn't ever worked for us the way we hoped it would. Still hoping to meet some interested people and arrange a decent promotional campagne for AbaNDa SHAKE where all parties would be content and happy.
