297. ~What makes one's truer self, I wonder: a spontaneous reflective reaction or a thoroughly weighed action - your deliberate rush at someone shouting out 'Run!' or your long-termed thoughtful plan of doing a certain thing. When I write my songs or lyrics, it is a mind's hard labour for me - I collect and think the words over and over, I change them as many times as I need, until they make the product that perfectly represents my inner self - my concept and vision as of a personality that I feel at ease with, that makes me feel comfortable with, the work of art produced by my conscience in the best manner I can. I do not write a dictation - I filter, reject and choose until I get happy with what I generate. This is the creative part of us. We can and do control it. The other part is physiological - I wish we could control our organism's reactions the same way as we control our intellect's creativity. Probably, we can? There must exist some special practicies for achieving it, if so, I think. ♥ © Natali Dali
